Carrie Ann - Always a Fighter

Carrie Ann is a fighter. She has always been because she had to. She fought to move back home to Cape Breton, fought for her children and is now fighting cancer - stage 4 Melanoma.

She never thought that when she adopted her three children Samantha, Jaimie and Austin, with her husband Troy, after fostering them and falling more in love with them every day, that cancer would threaten their family's harmony. Carrie Ann was diagnosed with Melanoma in February of 2018 and has fought every day since.

Thanks to our donors, she can have her cancer care close to home - only a 10 minute drive away. She knows that her tumors, now in her spine and head, are dangerous, but she's fighting. Carrie Ann has a long road ahead of her, but she's grateful you donate to give her a fighting chance.

RadioDay is October 8th, please tune in to hear more of Carrie-Ann's story and the stories of other Cape Bretoners, who you are helping with your generosity.

To make sure the next patients have access to important cancer care, please give today. Your generosity can make all the difference in the world for the next patients in need.
