Golf - Because You Care

Golf Because You Care is a new fundraising initiative supporting the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation's efforts to build Cape Breton's new Cancer Centre. This golf tournament, a 4-person scramble style shot-gun start, is an exciting way to golf, because you care, supporting cancer patients right here at home.

The 'Golf Because You Care' tournament will be hosted by the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation at Lingan Golf Club in Sydney, Nova Scotia on August 28, 2020.

This event will make a difference for every single one of the 150 cancer patients who rely on the Cape Breton Cancer Centre every single day. Patients battling for their lives depend on our community's support and generosity when they are facing their most challenging and often emotional days. This event will help strengthen healthcare for the 1,900 new cancer patients who were diagnosed last year alone.
