Meet Cheryl - Development Officer

Meet Cheryl.

Cheryl Marsh is the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s newest team member. As our Development Officer, Cheryl will be contributing, with the Foundation team on all fundraising programs and initiatives. Cheryl will be developing important and long-lasting relationships with the amazing donors in Cape Breton.  

Cheryl comes with a wealth of experience in relationship-building, events, project management and objective-driven work.  Cheryl recently worked for the Saint Mary’s University Admission and Recruitment Office, having recruited all over the country and abroad. “Even though I have traveled across Canada and abroad for work, there is really no place like home. Within the last year, I chose to move home to Cape Breton after being away for 10 years.”

Cheryl’s skillset is only matched by her positive attitude and optimistic outlook on Cape Breton. “I am super excited to join the foundation to be a part of the inspiration that drives Cape Bretoners to give back to their own community. Capers are generous - we give when we can. It’s not about how much we are able to give, it’s about the spirit that is behind the giving.”
