Radio Day

In 12 years, our radio events have raised more than $7,500,000 in support of healthcare in Cape Breton.

CallaVision

All it takes is one cell for a patient in the emergency department to become an cancer patient and need immediate cancer care.  One cell can lead to a diagnosis and need for life-saving treatment. This year, we will be fudraising to purchase Cape Breton's first ever CellaVision machine. Donors will be giving patients critical time to identify and treat deadly cancers that move quickly and often change quickly

With real-time reporting, the local technologists and the pathologists in Halifax can work together, quicker to determine the next steps. Avoiding lengthy waits for samples to be couriered to Halifax can give patients either peace of mind, or the critical extra days to begin a treatment plan. When you fund CellaVision, you are giving Cape Breton Cancer patients the gift of an early start to a long and painful fight. You might just be giving them the time to survive.

Centre 200

This year's event will be held at Centre 200 in Sydney on Geroge St.

Your help is NEEDED

Your donations have an incredible impact on our community, allowing more Cape Bretoners to get the care they need at home, near their family and friends.

We are counting on your support to fund these critical needs and strengthen the health of Cape Bretoners!

On October 8th, 2020 the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation will celebrate Radioday 2020 in support of Cape Breton's new cancer centre.

This is Cape Breton’s most successful and highest profile fundraising event of the year.

On RadioDay, you will hear from inspiring and remarkable people who have access to excellence in healthcare here at home thanks to you. You will hear from Tanya Jessome, Cayla Toomey, Debbie Young and more...

cancer family

In the past, we heard from Brenda McCarthy, Leigh-Anne Cox, Harland Fraser, Ellen MacKenzie and Jason Fedora. Their cancer battles are truly amazing and our fundraising priority at this year’s RadioDay is cancer care in Cape Breton
