CEO Monthly Magazine Announces Brad Jacobs Winner of 2017 Best Regional Healthcare Fund CEO



Chief Executive Officers are the figureheads of a company, and while all employees have an important role to play in the success of a firm, ultimately a CEO’s decision can be a pivotal point in a company’s success. Because of the vital part that CEO’s play, the 2017 Global CEO Excellence Awards have been created to recognize the outstanding effort and hard work of the key leaders around the globe.

This year, CEO Monthly Magazine announced the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Brad Jacobs as winner of 2017 Best Regional Healthcare Fund CEO. “It’s an honour and a privilege to represent the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation,” Said Brad Jacobs.  “This is very much a team win, as I’m fortunate to have the best staff, amazing volunteers, and dedicated board and a community who gives back. We’re all supportive of strengthening healthcare in Cape Breton.”

Since 1992, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, in partnership with the community has raised more than $38 million to purchase equipment, and fund upgrades at the Regional Hospital. Since 2014, the Foundation has raised 1.35 million for mental health services. The Foundation has recently been accredited under Imagine Canada’s national Standards Program, which promotes transparency of charities and nonprofits, and strengthens public confidence in organizations and the sector as a whole.Thanks to the generosity of the Cape Breton community, our foundation has been able to purchase priority equipment and fund services which provide world-class care, closer to home.
