The world is dealing with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of COVID-19. Our thoughts are with the patients who are currently dealing with this diagnosis, medial/clinical staff and community groups in Cape Breton, many of whom are dealing with canceled events, in support of strengthening health care in Cape Breton. This is a very challenging time for our community, but we will get through it – together.

Now more than ever, the mission to strengthen health care for Cape Bretoners is critical for those deeply affected by the virus itself and the precautions and protocols surrounding it.

We will continue to monitor and share the latest developments as the COVID-19 pandemic moves through communities around the world.
